Mountain hiking

I was feeling kinda sick this weekend. Me and my wife. So we decided to ignore that fact and went out for some small scale mountain hiking.

Our first spot was a hill north of Muurat järvi where a friend of mine told me there should be some oaks planted.

The beard-like lichen means the air quality is good there. We found an interesting looking pine, some great scenery, the oaks... Ants... Yeay.

After that we went to Oravivuori in Korpilahti and checked out a triangulation point used for measuring the Struve Geodetic Arc... Or something. That's what the sign said, at least.

That was a nice trip. Amazing view from the tower, and all.

And, of course, a pic spam post is never complete unless I add some Sofia to it.

edit: Apparently it needed the full path since it was executed inside a bash script.

Self repairing cars

Well, well, well... It looks like my "new" car has gained the ability to repair it self.

When I bought it, the right window couldn't be opened. I figured the motor had burnt, or that there was a damaged wire somewhere. Today it suddenly started working again. Funny thing.

Now, if it would only fix that oil leak...

Programming - more of it

I did some more C++ programming again. Did a bug fix on MiniDuel. Check it out! It's a small Single player / Two player / No player space game which is quite a good time killer, IMO.

It only works on 32bit Linux machines, though, as far as I know. I'm thinking of porting it to Windows eventually. Not much time with the baby and all.
