Linux MINT 7

So far so good. The only thing I've had problems with is the old Logitech Quickcam Express. This is apparently a common Linux problem so whatevs.

I gotta say this is the best Linux distro I've ever used, or even seen. So easy. Love the out-of-the-box experience.

This is also the first Linux distro which ever actually worked on my wifes laptop, though the login screen is the wrong resolution.

The install-CD is also a live-CD so if you have some spare time I'd say give it a go. You don't even have to do anything to try it out. Just download the ISO, burn it to a CD, reboot your computer with the CD still in the slot. That should work on most computers.

These will never end!

What, with spring and all there's basically a new opportunity to take a pretty picture every day now. Here are the latest...

And, obviously, I can't post pictures without at least one of them being of Sofia...

That face makes you say "Aaawww", doesn't it?

About the "Links" page

2009-05-09 22:14 by Nailbar
Those of you who actually browse these pages may have noticed that I revamped the "Links" pages. The links are now ordered so that the last one visited is always first. This would have been a good idea if I was the only one clicking those links; some say it's easier to find something depending on when you last used it than it is in an alphabetical order. Since bots and visitors happily click those links I now seem to be having more trouble finding the links than before.

So I will change the strategy; in a not too distant future I will add search and ordering functionality to the links page like:

• Filter by keyword
• Order alphabetically
• Order by last used
• Order by most used

Have to post some more pictures of our new-born...

Anyone else think the middle one is creepy?

And here are two pictures showing Börje the cat enjoying the spring sun.

Spring nature

Before we got the baby we were out on a spring trip taking pictures of all the flowers and birds. Got some really nice shots so I figured I should share them with the world...

The squirrel wasn't that great a picture but I posted it since it always made me thing of a superman related lolcat picture I once saw; "Going to save Lois Lane, BRB!". Can you tell if it's a male or femail squirrel?

I'd also like to note that the swan picture was taken from just a few meters away. There's a second one where only the tail is visible 'cause the rest of the bird didn't fit in the picture.
