Usually, when I sit down and draw something, it would never turn out the way I initially imagined. Often I end up with something completely different.

This one was different.

Turned out almost exactly the way I saw it in my head. Funny thing.

Many years ago I saw some really nice pictures in a book. It was an isometric drawing of a piece of landscape where you could see everything from trees, terrain, and caves.

Last year I saw a presentation on the Internet about a replanting a rainforest. I think it was "How to build a rainforest" on TED.

Yesterday I saw some show on the TV where some chick was talking about traveling to Africa and building homes for the kids there and stuff.

So I felt inspired. And my train of thought went something like this:

• I wanna HELP too!
• But I'm not really into people-stuff.
• I wanna BUILD a rainforest!
• Hmm. Rainforest. I remember that picture of some forest.
• I wanna DRAW a rainforest!

So I did. Of course it would have been much cooler and better for the world if I went and did something useful, but then again, maybe that's just not my style.

I added two new links to my link page. Two awesome sites if you want to play games and make games. It's all about Open Source and giving and sharing. That's my kind of stuff right there.

I'm thinking of making a small browser based world where the content is generated on the go. Maybe I should try using content shared on OpenGameArt.org. Like this one.

The sun is shining, the snow is all sparkly. Why not take a picture.

Going to work this morning I finally remembered to take my camera with me, which I've been kicking my self for forgetting a couple of times the last days. Here's why.

And no pic post is complete without Sofia.

This is from when she found out she had hair. She was pulling on it for some time, apparently wondering what it is and why it won't come off.

Later today I had to run out on an errand and noticed a clear halo around the sun.

In any case I hate these Yes/No-polls. The short answer can often mean something completely different than the long answer.

"Have you ever thought of suicide?" - Short answer; Yes. Long answer; I've thought that suicide is a silly thing and not for me.
