Poor broken guitar still sings

Some time ago I found my moms old guitar on an attic. It had a broken string and something described as "character". By that I mean it's been through a lot, and sure looks that way. I uploaded a few images to show some friends and figured; why not post them here. So enjoy!

Funny thing it still makes a sound. Even a tune! So now I'm learning to play guitar. I think I mentioned this in an earlier post too but who cares.

With this entry I'd like to make two important statements;

Statement one
ZOMG!!! I just released [nailblog-1.0.beta1]! I've been working on this for so long now, thought it was never gonna get there!

Statement two
After intensive research I've come to the conclusion that gingerbread doe actually are large single celled organisms. If you'll take a look att the picture, exhibit A, you can clearly see it in the process of multiplying through cell splitting. Like... Ta-daa!

Okay, so it's late. Never mind me.

Nailblog-1.0.0 beta

Well, the Nailblog is again under developement, after a short pause due to too much "real" work, and at this rate we should see a beta version out within a few weeks. Not next week, though, 'cause I'm of on a rehearsal military exercise.

What to expect
Not something you'd want to replace version 0.6.5 with. While not counting bugs, it's not really feature packed, and no extra security stuff, other than the usual authentication, have been added, which means it's open for bot generated comments and so on.

Changes so far, ignoring that it's basically a rewrite from scratch, are template support - this makes it easy to redesign the pages without having to mess with the index file, better Admin page, better blog - planning to add support for rss feeds in 1.1.0, way better file management - file data stored in a secure place and personal files, and overall better designed system - maybe a backup module in 1.1.0.

Milestone for 1.0.0-beta

• user authentication and administration
• main menu
• user settings editor
• blog with comments
• file manager with uploads and private files

Dissecting a camera and other fun

Well, I've been busy. No time for fun and blogging, but here are some thoughts on camera internals and our cat...

I found out today what 300 volts feels like. I also found out that a camera stores electricity for the flash even though all batteries and other power sources have been removed. My hair felt funny after that incident.

I also had an incident with my cat. It started small; some scratching behind the ear. Then there was a claw here, a bite there, and soon after that my arm looked like it's been through a lawn mower. Anyhow, it was all good fun and I took a picture of my arm and the creature responsible. Look at the picture and guess if he has regrets.

Yeah, I thought of this while brushing my teeth.

Choises are few, when it comes to my hue, it will never be purple or blue.

Whatever I say, and I pray every day, my color is always this way.

So I'm browsing the shops, simply looking for tops, to replace what I have on my chops.

But alas, my fate, 'cause I'm always too late, and they never let me pass the gate.

Um... And, of course, the stuff I make up in the mornings always make more sense if you don't read it.
