So now I'm up! Just look at the time. So... Then what? Figured I'd just continue working on Nailblog-1.0.0. Yeay! After I design this shiny no-sleep logo and blog about it, of course.

Well... I've been thinking, and I think I don't want to add features to the Nailblog as it is now. I think I'm going to skip version 0.7.0 and get right to version 1.0.0.
Version 1.0.0 will be much cleaner then 0.6.5, and I'm recoding every single part. Most of the stuff I mentioned about 0.7.0 will probably be available in 1.0.1 instead.
I'm working on the alpha-version now. The core is finished, and mod_user for user authentication. I've added support for templates too, but will stick with the old Nailbox design for now. Another mentionable change is that instead of having a folder for blogs and a folder for shared files, I'll make a single folder for all dynamic material in which every module will have it's own subfolder for storing stuff in. This data folders location may be specified in the settings-file and may thus be hidden from the Internet and only accessed through PHP.

I may note that it took me two and a half months, or something, to create version 1.0.0 and I didn't upgrade the Nailbox until version 1.0.1. But I did skip 0.7.0.

Well, then. Some new content other than the blog it self; I was out on a trip today and took some pictures. Some of them turned out really good, IMO. So I've updated the [Gallery of Nature], and added one more image to the [Gallery of Börje]. Enjoy!

Also, I noticed the image gallery gets borked by long filenames. I'm actually thinking of skipping filenames all together. It's still the images that count.
Maybe an alternate view with all the images in a list and their specs, and stuff.

Don't install the entire KDE4.1.1 desktop environment if it's late and you're planning on getting any sleep. Just take a look at the time for this post. 300 packages donwloaded, still 40 to go, or something like that. Then there's the installation and configuration too.
And, obviously, I'll have to try it out before I go to bed. Oh well.

Another patch is out again. Been busy with work and other stuff, so I haven't had time to blog on anything. Anyways, fixes in Nailblog version 0.6.5 include better Admin tools and automatic summary for new entries in the blogs.
Next, I'm thinking of adding more features again, so here are my plans for version 0.7:

Though I just noticed a small bug in the automatic summary thingy, it's still no biggie. May or may not be patched before 0.7.
