Shiny and new

Alright! I've upgraded the system! Now, with a comment mechanism which makes sense! I removed the three comments that was the remains of the old system but I doubt anyone will miss them. I'll add some graphical goodness later on, but now, a little tour of the changes.
It is now possible to add comments to any of the posts in this blog, not just the top most. Comments will appear below the blog entry and newer comments will appear below older ones.
There's also a lot of system changes, in fact, I remade the whole thing almost from scratch. I usually do that. First version a complete mess when I never have a clear picture of what I want to make. Then I clean it up, which usually requires a huge overhaul.
During this remake period I came across a few more links which I should post in the [Links] section:
[PHP]
This is what I've been using. It's a great and flexible language with lot's of documentation. Or maybe I'm just a fanboy.
[W3Schools]
This is where I've taken the first steps when it comes to HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP. It's still very helpful with good reference sheets and stuff.
As for plans for the future, I'm going to add some more graphics to the design of this site, I've already said that. I'm also thinking about adding a gallery thingy, so I can show you all my pretty pictures without flooding the [Images] section.
The tubes are full of it

I'm working on a better version. It was pointed out that the comment system is a bit lame on the current version since one can only add a comment to the top of everything. The new version should allow comments on a per post basis.
In the mean while, here are some links to news and media sites I visit:
[Fark.com]
It's not news, it's fark! This is where you'll probably find the best comments on any kind of so called news.
[YouTube]
I don't think I'll need to explain what this is. If you haven't heard about it, this might be your first time on the Interwebs.
[Digg]
No, I'm not a digger, but you can find some interesting stuff in those lists too.
Friends and family

Tenth post wooo!
It appears I'm not alone in this world. I seem to have friends and family. This post is about friends and family...
[Waxworld]
Where would I be without the support of my sister? Or, in this case, where would the Nailbox be without the support of my sisters domain?
It's probably her fault that I picked up on blogging too. So here's also a link to her [LiveJournal]. It's more fun to read and has fewer typos.
[Almighty inc.]
Back in the days, before I knew HTML or CSS or whatever, my brother used to have a vast domain with lot's of web design experiments and other interesting stuff. Then he got one kid, and then three more. I'm posting this link in hope that he will, at some point, find more time for the Interwebs.
[Ympäristösuunnittely LN-W]
Even my wife has her own website these days. Though she's all business and that site is only for business related stuff.
[~FIN-Kameleon]
This is the photo gallery by a friend of mine. He's into nature photography, I'm into nature photography. And he's good at it too. I should also make a gallery...
Work

I also do work. You know, stuff I get paid for. Some of the stuff I do ends up on the Interwebs, so I figured I'd post a few links and descriptions here for your pleasure.

[EyeGIS]
This is the biggest thing yet. EyeGIS is a web map application which uses [MapServer] to display maps. The surrounding application is modular and is meant for specialized solutions. The intro page is in swedish, but the actual application has support for english and finnish too. Just click on the map, and then on the flag in the menu.
[Raseborgs Natur och Miljö]
I'm also the webmaster for Raseborgs Natur och Miljö. I usually redesign their website once or twice a year so the design matches the season. It's mostly in swedish, but have a look.
I've also done some other stuff, but some of them aren't done yet, and some of them aren't just good enough to make this blog. I'll add more when I make more.
Social me

Well, today I did a password change on all my accounts around the web. Came to think I haven't added any links to those yet. So here goes...
[Geni]
I like this one. It's a family tree. I have a pretty large tree, and this is probably the only way I can get any kind of picture of who is related to who, and how. Have a go! Maybe we'll connect somewhere higher up.
[Facebook]
Yes, I have a Facebook account. But I rarely use it now that I figured it was all just a big chain mail interface.. Or something. Friends and family share pictures through it, though, so it's good for something.
[My server]
I also have a server. You know, for testing stuff. Or something. Sharing. There's probably nothing interesting there, but here's the link anyway.
Slackware fanboy

I think I'll add some more [Links] again...
[Nordea]
This is probably not useful for many. It's a bank. Boring, yet, necessary.
Then there's my Linux fandom. After several false starts trying different distributions, I stumbled upon one called [Slackware]. This particular distribution was not covered behind wizards, and distro-specific configurations, and I could finally see what made Linux tick. Anyhow, I'm now a fan, so here's a list of some Slackware related resources:
[Slackware] - official site
[LinuxQuestions.org] - user forum
[SlackBuilds.org] - build scripts
[LinuxPackages] - precompiled packages
[Slacky.eu] - precompiled packages
[SlackwareHelp.org] - user forum
[Slackware Book] - "manual"
[Slackware on DistroWatch] - review
