Drop 1920 x 1080 [View] [Download] Another background, another sphere. It's glass, or a droplet, or something.
Bubbles 1920 x 1080 [View] [Download] Something softer and happier than my previous wallpaper. I needed to make this for balance, see.

| Wheel Thing III 1920 x 1080 [View|Download] 1680 x 1050 [View|Download] Still not done here. Added another wheel to the foreground for more depth. This is now my current desktop background. Let's see how long it will stay that way. Wheel Thing II 1920 x 1080 [View|Download] 1680 x 1050 [View|Download] Then I decided to add just a bit more color and contrast to the stargate-like object in the middle to make it just a bit more interesting. I think it turned out quite well. | Wheel Thing 1920 x 1080 [View] [Download] Got a new monitor at work. Higher resolution. Had to make another background because the previous one got stretched. Enjoy! |

| Leather Sphere II 1680 x 1050 [View] [Download] After using the original Leather Spehere background for a while I decided it needed something more. The new version is basically the old one with some more stuff added; different sphere color, bloom around the sphere phong, darker stripe across the center, and a dark frame with lot's of turbulance and sharpness. | Leather Sphere 1680 x 1050 [View] [Download] I have a thing for spheres and stripes at the moment. This one is like a combination of the background stripes in Green Stripes, and the background depression in Slackware Pill Life. The new thing here is the turbulance in the background color. |
Green Stripes 1680 x 1050 [View] [Download] These started out as green. Then I added more color variation. It's alright.
Dark Sphere 1680 x 1050 [View] [Download] This is my current background image (2009-10-06) I made this while trying to get my self to switch over from Gnome to KDE. I needed something dark to go with the Plasma theme I liked.
Slackware Pill Life 1680 x 1050 [View] [Download] This is my current background image (2008-07-15) I made this when I bought a new screen. The Pill in the middle is a remake of someone elses design, but I can't remember who made the original.
Springtime 1600 x 1200 [View] [Download] This image was taken in 2007. The ground is covered with European Wood Anemones while the trees are still bare. I don't remember when I made a wallpaper out of it or how long I used it. The image was taken with my new camera (Nikon D50).
Butterfly 1600 x 1200 [View] [Download] This wallpaper is one of my favorites. I particularly love how the dark top line goes behind the wing and grass spout. I was probably feeling smug for a week after I made it.
Dragonfly 1600 x 1200 [View] [Download] The picture is one of the first I took with my new camera (Nikon D50). I really like close ups of insects and flowers, among other.
Night 1280 x 1024 [View] [Download] I took this image with a hobby camera. I'm still shocked over how good the picture turned out to be. Basically I just put the camera down on a pier and pushed the button. I guess I was lucky.
Pea 1280 x 1024 [View] [Download] We had sweet peas growing on our balcony. The camera was only a simple autofocus "hobby camera", but since the flowers were big enough, and there was nothing there to distract the focus process, it turned out pretty well. Then I added a transparent, blurred version of the same image on top to give it an exta glow.
Orchid 1280 x 1024 [View] [Download] This wallpaper is from 2004. The image is one of the few good indoors images I've taken. I didn't see how well the flowers would match the background when I took it, but now, as a background, I'd say it's pretty good.
